Awareness of the event "Conservation of biodiversity by use of renewable energy in the Rajecka valley", which BIOMASA is organized in May, do not remains only in Slovakia. Our event will be part and proudly will be present on the largest annual conference on European environmental policy "Green Week 2015 Nature - our health, our wealth", which will take 3th to 5th June 2015 in BRUSSELS on the topic nature and biodiversity.
Association BIOMASA is the fifth time involved in event Green Week, in which prepares open days for primary and secondary schools. In Kysucky Lieskovec at the headquarters of the association in the period 11th to 13th May 2015, will be held excursions on the topis biomass and biodiversity conservation.
The main activity of this year's GREEN WEEK is open day - "Conservation of biodiversity by use of renewable energy in the Rajecka valley" for primary school students, to be held on 14th May 2015 at the park Drienova in Rajec. Program for children is ready for the morning (9:30 to 12:30), which will consist of professional lectures and practical demonstrations focused to retain water in the area, protect plants and trees and animal care. Concurrently, the competition will be held and at the end the most successful students will be rewarded with a small reward. The event will be completed by projecting fairy Butterfly Jason.
