2.Which type of wood are pellets made from?
Pellets are made from spruce sawdust and shavings.

 

3. Are pellets produced from sawdust with bark?
No, the pellets are made from white sawdust without bark.

 

4. How many bags (15 kg) are stored on one pallet?
80 bags are stored on one pallet, i. e. 1 200 kg of pellets. Dimension of pallet itself are 110 cm x 110 cm x 13 cm.

 

5.How many pellets are consumed on average per heating season?
Current family house with a heat loss of 15 kW consumes about 6 tonnes of pellets annually.

6.How big storage space I need for pellets?
It should be considered the fact that storage space is usable for 70%, because the storehouse can not be completely filled by bulk pellets. The volume of storage space for storing 6 tonnes of pellets is therefore 12 m3. The stock height is 2.5 meters it should be available the base area of 4.8 m2, which means that the storehouse will have dimensions of 2.0 m x 2.4 m x 2.5 m (l x w x h).
