Title of training: Personal computer operation

Description and the aims of project:
The aim of education is to ensure the professional development of trainees and enhance their applicability, develop elementary skills in the use of computer technology classes in the standard PC environment of Windows operating system with the components of office package MS Office - Word and Excel, prepare skilled users of information and communication technologies, i.e. work with the PC in the scale necessary to manage the current application programs.

Description of project activities:
  • prepare skilled users of information and communication technologies;
  • work with the PC in the scale necessary to manage the current application programs;
  • prepare participants for an individual handling with the text editor (create a simple text document, document writing, text editing, copying, moving and deleting of document);
  • prepare participants for an individual handling with the spreadsheet program (creating, copying and deleting of tables, creating of graph from the tables and inserting data into the graph).

The aims of the education activity were met through lectures, knowledge sorting, solving of practical tasks and audiovisual equipment.
During the completion of education, participants learnt to work independently in the programs MS Word (writing a simple modification of the text using the instruments) and MS Excel (work with a spreadsheet editor - basic operations associated with creating of tables and graphs).

Completion of project activities:
Educational activity "Personal Computer Operation" was completed with practical test performed on the PC from lectured topics. Based on the successful completion of education activity participants received the certificate accredited by Ministry of Education of Slovak republic applicable throughout the Slovak Republic.
