Eight annual international Conference ISBF 2011 was held on 8.-9.2.2011 in Bratislava and was organized by Energy center Bratislava. Conference was focused on traditional sources as well as on new unused sources of biomass and economic aspects of large scale use of renewable energy sources. Important specialization was also projects financing, regional energy plans and energetic potential for towns and cities.

Sustainbale Energy Europe Awards 2011 |

The annual Sustainable Energy Europe Awards reward best-in-class inititiatives that promote renewable energy or energy efficiency. In recent years, some 250 projects have competed to win an award. The Awards Ceremony is one highlight of EU Sustainable Energy Week and attracts media interest from across Europe. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Brussels on 12 April 2011. Association BIOMASA also takes part in this competition this year with project CHEFUB - Creative high efficient and effective use of biomass.

The World Sustainable Energy Days were held on 2 - 7 March 2010 in Wels, Austria. The largest annual exhibition in the field of sustainable energy in Europe, offers a unique combination of events on sustainable energy production and use, covering energy efficiency and renewable energy sources for buildings, industry and transport.
