Trainees from Great Britain in BIOMASA

From 6th to 19th May 2014 BIOMASA, Association was visited by trainees – Ewan, Samuel, Adrian – students from Great Britain within Lifelong Learning programe Leonardo Da Vinci mobility PLM – people in the labour market and SMAPUDE_LIFE project. The Leonardo da Vinci Programme funds practical projects in the field of vocational education and training. Leonardo da Vinci Mobility programme is an initiatives providing the opportunity to individuals for work-related training abroad. This programme is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission. Includes mobility initiatives enabling people to train in another country.

GREEN WEEK 2014 - Biomass – energy without end

BIOMASA Association of legal entities also in this year organized „Open doors" event – Biomass – energy without end within satellite event GREEN WEEK from 2nd May to 7th May 2014. The main goal of event is raise awareness of wide public in the field of protection and creation of the environment. The theme for 2014 is Circular economy – saving resources, creating jobs. A circular economy is the logical solution for a resource-constrained world. It's a place where almost nothing is wasted, where the re-use and remanufacturing of products has become standard practice, and where sustainability is built into the fabric of society.

BIOMASA project between the best projects LIFE Environment 2013

European commission annual awards the best project from all over the Europe, which were finished last year within LIFE Environment. It evaluates a projects asset not only after implementation but in long term within environmental, economic and social development.

Important is level of innovation, possibility of applying project results in a larger scale and cost-effectiveness. Project awards ensure dissemination of information about LIFE projects, projects results, which we can apply in large scale with positive impact on environment.

Satellite event GREEN WEEK 2014

stamp green-week-2014-satellite-event skAlso in 2014, BIOMASA, Association of legal entities will be organize satellite event GREEN WEEK, which will be held under the patronage of the European Commission and its main goal is to create awareness of the general public in the field of environment protection. The main topic for this year is Circular economy – saving resources, creating jobs.

A circular economy is the logical solution for a resource-constrained world. It's a place where almost nothing is wasted, where the re-use and remanufacturing of products has become standard practice, and where sustainability is built into the fabric of society. There will also be a focus on better waste management, and on how it can help the EU use its resources more efficiently.
