Best Projects LIFE Nature and LIFE Environment 2014

The publication The Best LIFE Nature projects 2014 LIFE program, EU funds for environmental measures and climate change, highlights the achievements and values of the acquired money to finance major projects Nature, Biodiversity and Information and Communication projects with a nature focus, which were completed before the end last year.

Five projects received the highest award ("Best of the Best 'projects), including LIFE Information and Communication (INF) in Greece. For the first time the public can vote for the best one of these projects. The winner of the public vote - the LIFE Community Award for Nature - was announced at the 7th annual ceremony winning projects, which took place in Brussels during the EU Green Week earlier this year.

The publication of the Best LIFE Environment projects 2014 LIFE program, EU funds for environmental measures and climate change, highlights the achievements and the value of remittances to finance major Environment projects completed before the end of 2014. 25 presentation of the project of nine EU Member States are examples of practical solutions for many of the most pressing environmental challenges, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change, the use of water without waste, soil quality, management and reuse of waste and the development of greener production processes. Eight projects received the highest award ( "Best of the Best 'projects), including LIFE Information and Communication (INF) projects with environmental focus in Slovenia and the UK. In addition, another 17 projects (including one strand LIFE INF) have been recognized as "best" LIFE projects for their excellent work. All 25 award-winning projects demonstrate the important contribution that the LIFE program can have a contribution to reducing carbon, more efficient use of resources, sustainable and growing ekonimiky EU.
