BIOMASA Association organises within the framework of REBIE+ project Regional Pellet Days from 29 September to 3 October 2008. During Regional Pellet Days BIOMASA Association will realise following activities and events:
The pellet production plant uses to be open for students of technical middle schools every year. Excursions begin with a presentation during which a lecture on renewable energy sources and wood pellet production is projected and presented for students. After the presentation there is a time for debate with the students and answering their questions. The pellet production plant is also shown to the students.
The aim of the current workshop was to bring together experts in the field of biomass fuel preparation and combustion. Emphasis was given to the review of fuel sourcing and preparation where the different sources will be critically examined.
BIOMASA, Association of Legal Entities in cooperation with Styria Agricultural and Forestry Chamber in Graz organized a study trip, entitled "Using biomass for heating, electric energy and biogas" to Austria, the Land of Styria, in the surroundings of Graz town and the Czech Republic.
The international conference World Sustainable Energy Days 2007 was held from 28 February to 2 March 2007 in Wels/Austria, a great success with more than 1000 participants from 61 countries! BIOMASA association from Kysucky Lieskovec participated in this conference.
The World Sustainable Energy Days 2007 offered a unique combination of events:
BIOMASA organised training cours on the topic “Modern technologies to produce and use wood fuels for heating” in Žilina from 22. to 23. May 2007. The training was organised in the regions of the Northwest Slovakia, where BIOMASA is active and where several installations and sites for visits are available.
