Central Processing Unit Opening Ceremony in Kysucky Lieskovec

Opening ceremony of the CPU for wood pellet production was a part of the Conference BIOMASA - Clean Energy which was held in Zilina on 17 – 18 September 2004 under the auspices of the Minister of the Environment Laszlo Miklos. Laying the foundation stone of “Central Processing Unit” constructiontné prostredie

The foundation stone of "Central Processing and control Unit" construction was laid on the occasion of the international conference BIOMASA - supply of clean energy, which was held on 9 – 10 October 2003 in Zilina under the auspices of the Minister of the Environment Laszlo Miklos, who personally attended the conference. Energy Globe Award 2006

World Award for Sustainable Development is the most appreciate and the most prestigious award in the environmental field and is a kind of "Nobel Prize for environmental protection". BIOMASA Association won the award for the successful implementation of the main project "Integrated logistics for the use of biomass energy – Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through use of biomass energy in North-western Slovakia. Visit of Georgian ambassador

On 30 December 2006, Mr. Nikoloz Nikolozishvili, Ambassador of Georgia in the Slovak Republic, visited BIOMASA and our pellet plant. He saw the pellet production, he was interested in our project and its approach and during discussion with Mr. Zidek, Project manager he expressed an interest for cooperation and preparation of similar project in Georgia.
