Competition for children - Summer biomass camp 2011

SBC1This year BIOMASA prepares next edition of successful Summer biomass camp. Children will compete for a participation using e-mail communication only! This competition began on 27. May 2011 within the activity of Green Week, when school children were invited to BIOMASA and interesting programme was prepared for them.

This year BIOMASA prepares next edition of successful Summer biomass camp. The camp will be held during 1. - 7. August 2011 in Slanicka Osada - Namestovo in facility heated with wood pellets. Summer biomass camp presents one of the information and disssemination activities within the project CHEFUB that are focused on activities prepared for schools and on environmental awareness raising among children and youth.

Children will compete using e-mail communication only this year! They will be informed and they will receive the details for competition in e-mails after the registration. The competition comprises of 3 parts, it begins on 27. May 2011 and ends on 25. June 2011. The winners and their parents will be invited in Conference BIOMASA 2011 in Rajecke Teplice on 29. June 2011. They will receive the certificates of participation in Summer biomass camp 2011 there.

gw2011_logo_satellite_eventThe 11th edition of Green Week tooke place from 24 to 27 May 2011 in Brussels and around Europe. This year's theme was "Resource Efficiency - Using less, living better". Together with Green Week confrence many satellite events were held around the Europe.

This year also BIOMASA participated in this activity and very interesting programme for school children was prepared on 27. May 2011. The main objective of these activities is environment protection through efficient resource using. BIOMASA wants to present new life style for people that respect our demands as well as demands of future generations. Following this, children are the main target group for our activities and their parents through them.
