Final seminar to project CHEFUB

BIOMASA, Asociation of Legal Entities organized from 21st to 24th of November final seminar „Implementation of project CHEFUB – successes and problems with implementation, recommendations for future. The seminar was combined with an excursion to biomass processing facilities in the Czech Republic.

Free four day seminar was held on the occasion of the completion of the project CHEFUB - "Creative High Efficient and effective use of biomass." Seminar took place in Kysucký Lieskovec, Prague, Ceske Budejovice, Cesky Krumlov and Znojmo.

The program of the seminar included lectures focused on the progress of project implementation CHEFUB achievements, succeses and constraints in the implementation of the project. Also, the participants attended the seminar on 22nd of november 2012 - International trade fair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, measuring, regulation, sanitary and environmental technology Aqua-therm Prague. There were presented the modern trends and solutions in the field of renewable energy, biomass and wood pellets. The participants familiarized themselves with new approaches, and also uploaded their experiences to exhibitor companies. Participants visited on 23th of november 2012 the Czech Energy Center in Ceske Budejovice ECCB. There attended lectures about the Centre's activities and projects implemented.

On the other hand, members of the project team presented lectures about implementation of project CHEFUB, its various activities, succeses or constrains with the implementation of the project to members ECCB. The ECCB visit included excursion and tour to heating plants which fired biomass with ORC technology and the production of electricity in the town of Trhove Sviny (South of Bohemia region). Participants attended on 24th of november 2012 a tour in the company Drevo-produkt SV, ltd. (Znojmo, South Moravia). The excursion was associated with the viewing of various types of woodworking machines for processing forest biomass as well as a wide range of heating equipment. Project team members and BIOMASS´s staff disseminated information about successful implementation of the project CHEFUB and about his focus and individual activities which presented in abroad.
