Seminar - Combined production of biofuels

BIOMASA, Association of Legal Entities in the framework of the project DANUBENERGY organised in days 25th November 2014 and 10th December 2014 the final workshop Combined production of biofuels – new opportunities in bioenergy. It was held at the EKOKLASTER Office in Rajec and in Office of BIOMASA Association in Kysucky Lieskovec.

Workshop was aimed at evaluating the possibilities of Slovak stakeholders interested in innovative technology of combined production of biofuels with using of grass biomass. The first plant, built in Baden-Baden, which works on the principle of combined technology IFBB and which successfully produce a large quantity of solid fuel in the form of briquettes and liquid fuel in the form of biogas, was introduced to the potential stakeholders. They were informed about all information which are needed to be able to use such technology. Possible mixing of grass raw material with wooden raw material (sawdust) for production of grass-wooden briquettes, which was tested on the mobile unit (Blue Conrad in May 2014 in Slovakia), was presented to participants.

At the end of the final workshop the General Director of BIOMASA evaluated the work of whole project team, which was devoted to the implementation and fulfilment of project outputs of DANUBENERGY project over the last two years.
